We are pleased to announce the Second Annual Minnesota State Beer Mile Road Race Championships! This one of a kind event will be held at Lift Bridge Brewery in scenic Stillwater, Minnesota.
What is a beer mile road race?
To complete this event, participants must drink 1 beer, run a quarter mile, drink another beer, run another quarter mile, drink a third beer, run a quarter mile, and drink a final beer and run the final quarter mile: 4 beers, 1 mile.
This event features two divisions: The Open Division is for those that are interested in completing in this event for fun. They will still be timed, and prizes given to age group winners.
The Championship Division is for those who think they have what it takes to be one of the first Beer Mile Road Race Champions in Minnesota state history! Prizes will be awarded for age group winners.
Registration includes the beer, a t shirt, and awesome prizes for winners!
Event details and schedule
Beer Mile check in and registration begins at 1pm
The first flight of runners will start at 2:00pm in front of the brewery.
Participants must be 21+ to enter, and will be carded before the race begins.
The age groups for both the Open and Championship divisions will be as follows: 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
